My (few, so far) users are a little confused by the interface into Group forums when viewed in a Group page context, so I’m thinking of rejiggering the layout there to look a little more conventional. I’m confident messing around with the html/php/css, and I’m all about the child theme structure, but I can’t for the life of me figure out where to start looking for the template files involved to copy, edit and dump into my child theme (and exactly where in the child theme folder, once I’ve created new ones — do I follow the folder structure from the parent to place the override templates?)

I’ve already used custom header and footer templates for my child theme, so I’m up to speed on the basic concepts.

Any hints on where to start looking for the templates that generate the Group->Forum layout would be much appreciated!

Take the files from bp-sn-parent/groups/single/forums/ and copy/paste them into the same location in your child theme, then season to taste.
