Hi, I recently installed BuddyPress and everything seems to work except the Forums. It says there are no topics and it doesn’t give a Group at the bottom of the New Topic input window where the drop down box is. It just gives horizontal lines. Everything is updated.
I’m pretty sure I just haven’t discovered an internal switch to make it work but after countless days of trying, I give up doing that on my own.
Can anyone here help?

Have you installed the forums via the BuddyPress “Forums setup” menu in wp-admin?

Also, have you visited a specific group’s admin panel and activated their forum?

Thank you both for your input.
I have created categories and forums in Dashboard and also in wp_admin but something keeps them from linking with the group.
So far there is only my group. How do I activate my forum?

One other question though…How do you delete a forum after you deleted the group?

Super, glad to hear it. About forums not being deleted after removing a group. This is a bug in the current release which we’ve already fixed for the next version, you’d have to delete from the database manually for now.
