Friend Acceptance Notification NOT GOING AWAY!

Hi guys,

I seem to remember reading about this in the past but thought it would have been fixed by now. Does anyone else have problems with notifications not going away even after you click on them and your notices section is showing no notices. the number 1 in the notifications alert still stays though and I can’t get rid.

Any ideas or is this being fixed in 1.3?

What version are you using??

Thanks for that, but just checked my files and the code is that newer version. I’m using BP 1.2.7 and am bang up to date. I just cannot for the life of me get rid of this friendship accepted notification. Very very bizarre.

Any other ideas?

Right it seems that after the request will only go away if you click on it to be taken to the newly accepted friend’s profile and then click on the friends tab.

It will go at that point.

The link the notification sends you too is: http://www.mysite.com/members/username/?new

Is that the right format?

@rossargant I used the code found here and it worked for me. I use 1.2.8
