Friend Requests II

    A member of our site said he couldn’t send out friend invitations and so I went looking to confirm the problem. We have Friendships and Requests but no way to invite new friends.
    BuddyPress version is the latest.
    Groups Creation for all users is disabled due to spammers so new groups are available upon request (spammers went away, woo hoo!)
    Why wouldn’t we have an active Invite Friends capability?

    Did you setup the Friends component and asigned a page ?
    Same question in regards of Members.

    Which theme do you use ?

    ClassiPress/SimplePress
    We have the Friends menu item in the HOWDY! drop down menu and the Friendships menu item takes you to the Friends page. I have one friend listed so far and there are buttons for Friendships and Requests but no way to invite new friends. so as far as I know, we’ve got them set up or am I misunderstanding something?
