[Resolved] Friendship request not working

    Hi,

    I’m still new to BP, but I think the friendship request is not working right on my site. First of all, if you make a request no notification email is sent to the person your requesting, shouldn’t it do that? Also, when you receive a request it doesn’t say “Accept” or “Deny” it says “Read” or “Unread”. There’s just no way on my site to accept a friendship request.

    Any help is appreciated. (I have the latest WP and BP versions.)

    Note: I’ve checked all of the appropriate boxes on the BP settings menu (including Friend Connections) and I’ve even deactivated and re-activate Buddypress. Nothing seems to work.

    Try using the Twenty Fifteen theme and then deactivating all plugins one-by-one. The idea is to find out which piece of code is introducing the problem.

    Thank you for your help. It was my theme. Working with the theme developer now. Looks like it should be an easy fix.
