Function which displays the log in popup

Hi,
What is the name of the function that is called when the user clicks the icon to log in? I would like to call this elsewhere in my website but I can’t seem to find the function, is this something I need to ask my theme to provide me or is it part of the BuddyPress code?(The function that is called causes a popup to come on the screen, which allows the user to enter their details)
