Getting an adminbar similar to BuddyPress.org

How do we get a wp-admin bar similar to what is visible for logged in users of Buddypress.org?

I only want them to see their notifications and their buddypress account. I also like the user avatar. The search bar and buddypress logo space are also great.

I don’t want them to have a lot of the other options nor do I want them to have the extra options that come with the buddybar.

For starters, you’ll need to switch from the buddybar to the wp admin bar. To do this in 1.5, set this in wp-config.php:

define(‘BP_USE_WP_ADMIN_BAR’, true);
