Group Forum uses plugins.php instead of forum.php

    Wordpress Version 3.6
    Buddpress Version 1.7.1 ( Yes I will upgrade )
    bbpress Vesrion 2.3.2

The Forums in Groups uses plugins-php (buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/groups/single/plugins.php) instead of forum.php(buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/groups/single/forum.php)

Why is this happening and how do I rectify it instead.

( I have installed bbpress and each group is marked to have its own Forum )

    Please advice,

    Thank you.

OK !! I think I understood why this is happening.
Please correct me if my understanding is incorrect.

Because I have enabled bbpress. So Buddypress uses bbpress plugin to provide forums functionality as opposed to its own forum. Now since bbpress is a plugin so the follow goes to plugins.php rather than buddypress’s own forum.php

    Correct ?

bbPress handles all forum requirements for BP as of 1.7, BP no longer bundles a version of bbPress, the templates in bp-default are more for backwards compatibility, running in theme compatibility mode bbPress will feed it’s content through plugins.php for group forums.
