Newly installed BP RC2, MU 2.7.1, bbPress 1.0-Alpha.

The letter “p” appears before and “/p” appears after every paragraph of posts in the forum area of groups. Obviously, something is messing up the tagging of <p> paragraphs.

Examples:

” pCome on in and introduce yourself!/p “

” ptest/p “

” pThis is a test./ppAnd so is this./p “

Anyone else having this problem?

This is a bug in the libxml2 library on your installation.

You can upgrade this on your server – but – make sure you have enabled the “BuddyPress enable” plugin on the bbPress side, as this is a temporary fix for the problem.

Ah, thanks Andy – I forgot to activate buddyPress-enable, and I didn’t have the very latest version of PHP.

Installing bbPress is, by far, the trickiest part of assembling a BuddyPress site.
