Group forums redirect loop.

My permalink structure is /%category%/%postname%/ – when I enable Forums in BP Groups any new post or attempt to view a forumfrom within a group causes a redirect loop.
If I change the permalink to something else this issue goes away. Does anyone know how to fix it without changing my permalink structure?
