Group Mods showing ”You are not an admin of this group.” in buddypress 1.6rc

Hi, i made a fresh install of wordpress network and buddypress 1.6 then promote a user to group mod. but when that user click admin on the group page, it is showing the “You are not an admin of this group.” msg. this doesn’t happen when I test version 1.5.6.

I too am having this issue with 1.6.1 release version. Didn’t occur prior to upgrading. I’m also on WordPress 3.4.1.

I am having the same issue. I switched back to the default theme and the issue is still there so it must be something within the core files. I am looking into the issue now.
