Group Sidebar/Widgets

On the group’s pages my sidebar is the site sidebar and I want it to be the options that are in customize>Buddy Press Group’s Home. I added a number of them, but the site sidebar is still showing. When I look at the widgets I can see the ones I added so I think I am just missing a step or in all my playing around with features and styling, I accidentally changed a setting. They are showing below but not in the sidebar.
