Group/Profile Cover Photo Issue

I am trying to understand how cover photos work for Groups and Profiles. I have read many articles on the matter but still cannot seem to get this to work correctly.

My cover photo always seems to zoom to the top of any image I upload, and I have tried many sizes (even the recommended >605px wide x 225px tall). Am I missing a setting? Or is there a better image size to try?

BP:v2.5.3 , WP:v4.5.2, Theme:I-Max
(Clean install of BuddyPress)

It’s probably more your theme requires extra CSS to correctly display the image. If you can link to your site to a profile with an example cover photo, you stand a better chance of someone here helping.

i don’t see any issue. Can you give more details about the zoom effect ?
What do you consider to be wrong ? If possible, provide a screenshot.

For example, If I upload:http://kiss.flyduino.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/FD-logo.png

I get this result:
http://kiss.flyduino.net/groups/members-380022479/

I realize that this image is quite large, however I have tested this with various sizes from 650×225 all the way up to the default size from the first link.

Granted, the original image is large…but I even tested with it in sizes ranging from 650×225 all the way up to its original size.
