groups_create_group without adding admin user

Hi, hopefully this is the right place to make a request?
I’d like to be able to call groups_create_group and pass a flag so it does NOT add the current admin user as an admin to the group – in fact I’d like the group to remain empty at that point (I have other interfaces made that allow members to be added).
