Handling Member Domains to register

We want to set up BP in a WP site where members can register depending on the domain of their email. If user1@organisation1.org registers there would be a welcome note (as organisation1.org is in a database, see below), if user2@organisation2.org registers, there will be a different response and registering will be checked by admin.
We need to set up a database with around 500 organisationxyz.org domains. When a user registers, he should be able to choose from a menu. Any idea if sth like this exists for BP?
