BuddyPress.org

Let’s say I want to use BuddyPress/WP to manage content for a national non-profit website. On the site I have pages for each state that has data for that state. And I have members in each state who are in charge to maintaining the data for their state and their state alone. Would BuddyPress allow me to do that? And of course the webmaster and other admins would also need to be able to edit all the pages as well. Thanks!
