HELP!! Fatal Error after update Buddypress latest version

    Hey guys,

    I’ve just updated to the latest BP version and now it’s throwing this fatal error when displaying groups:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function add_nav() on a non-object in /home/…/public_html/modules/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-buddybar.php on line 155

    Need fix please.

    On line 155 I’ve found this code:

    $retval = buddypress()->{$component}->nav->add_nav( $nav_item );

    @kookidooki What theme and what plugins do you have active? We need more information to understand what might be causing this problem.

    @kookidooki Are you using the BP Group Hierarchy plugin? If so, that plugin needs to be updated to work with BuddyPress 2.6.

    Hello Paul,

    I’m using theme Kleo, BP Group Hierarchy, some other plugins and installed new Buddypress with all plugins switched off.

    I’ve checked this: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/10745
    and see you did a huge overhaul to the Group Navigators..

    I guess I’ve isolated and found the problem: BP Group Hierarchy plugin. I’ve deactivated it again and re-installed BP and everything is working fine now… (for the moment).

    Group Hierarchy hasn’t been updated for a very long time — I think it’s abandoned.
