Help Hardcoding Profile File

I’m looking for the revelant files(s) related to a members profile in BP 1.7. If someone can so kindly point me to correct folders and subfolders they’re maintained that would be helpful.

I’d like to be able to hardcode a few elements within a members profile and edit profile tabs. For example, I’d like to rename the “edit” link to something else. I’m not looking for plugins or tutorials more just the folder/file(s) I need to focus on. I did this in an older version of BP but for some reason having trouble finding the correct files.

    Thank you for your help.

Why not just use a language file to change the name of the edit link?

Thanks, I’ll look at this today and test it out with the “edit” label. Is anyone still able to provide the core file(s) for the member profile section where I could edit things like that? I mainly want to know because there are various other edits I may want to do in the near future. If anyone can provide the folder/file path(s) that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
