Hello everyone. I’ve only just discovered BuddyPress and it sounds amazing. I run a community that’s investing in a Welsh football club, Monmouth Town. We have a site, at fivepoundfootballclub.com, that’s custom built in PHP using the Smarty template engine.

I want to move our community over to BuddyPress. I think much of the project could be relatively simple. Our members need an integrated forum and profiles – that seems pretty simple.

There are two more difficult parts to the project:

Firstly, taking payment for membership and additional payments when members sign up. Members can earn and are rewarded authority points for additional contributions.

Secondly, we want to create groups that are ranked by the sum of their members’ authority scores. There must be the option to hold member-only polls.

I have more details, if required, but I’m after a BuddyPress guru to help with this project? Any takers? Or have you any idea if I can make this work on BuddyPress?
