Help to modify & achieve

I want to create a custom theme for my website in which I’m having 3 requirements.
1) i want strict user roles of two kinds.either by xprofiles or by new user roles option.
Users must select their choice while sign-up, it must be un changeable.
Ex: Band and Fan2) I want, two different types of profile home page, one for each above-mentioned roles.
Ex: band’s profile home page design will be different from fan’s profile home page.
I’m asking for the conditional function codes to use in my theme.3) I want to restrict group creating ability to only user role.
Please provide the custom code snippet / codex link with details / guide me to achieve the above mentioned tasks.
