BuddyPress.org

Hi,

I have the project to build an e-shop website that is also social. This is why I am considering buddypress for it.
However I don’t want to start everything before I know if what I want can be achieved with BP.
My project is very similar to Etsy website.

Users can create a profile where they can:
– upload images and videos (I know can be done with buddypress)
– upload products they want to sell (possible)
– for each product sold, there is a commission that is taken (let’s say 5% of the total price).

My first question is:
Is it possible to set up the site in such a way that a commission is taken?
If yes, how?

My second question is:
Is it possible to install a membership scheme on the site. Such as “pay £5/month to access these services here” and then charge the member each month until the membership is cancelled.
I am thinking this could be linked to paypal merchant account however I wonder if this is possible with Buddypress. Perhaps there is a plugin for it??
