[Resolved] Hi, I can't seen to enable photo uploading

Not sure what the issue is, but there seems to be no way on the front or back end (Extended forms) to upload a photo. The box is blank without any way of attaching/uploading a photo. Through the front end it tells me to Create gravitar account. Is there no way to simply upload a photo of myself as Administrator and allow users to do the same without having them create a gravitar account?? This sounds really bad. I just installed Buddy Press for the first time today and I’m not happy I’ve wasted most of an afternoon trying to figure out how to upload a photo. Please advise! Thank you.
