    @timtellean

    WP ver. 4.73
    BP ver. 2.82
    Metro magazine pro theme

    I have one group setup, set to hidden, at the moment I am the only member, as the super Admin of the website. When I view groups from the website I don’t see the group listed in groups.
    Group view

    It says I have one group but I cannot access it from the website. If I switch the group to public or private I do see it but as a hidden group.

    Help…..

    Your hidden group will be visible when you are logged in.

    Hmm, I cannot duplicate this problem.

    Can you try deleting your hidden group and creating a new one?

    I tried that and even invented a new user and had that user setup a hidden group. I can’t see the hidden group under the new user.

    It took me awhile to think about what might be causing the issue and I just remembered the problem.

    It’s a theme conflict with BuddyPress.

    BuddyPress adds the CSS class hidden to a group in the group loop. Some themes might already have a .hidden class declared, so hidden groups are not shown because of this.

    Can you add the following CSS snippet to your CSS?

    #buddypress .bp-single-group.hidden {display:block;}

    I believe this should fix your problem.

    Well done. That appears to have fixed the problem.
    Many thanks.
