How can I disable buddypress during mobile mode?

I need to disable buddypress in the mobile view, because it doesn’t work very well with the plugin I’m using (WP mobile detector) as it shows a ton of links at the bottom of the page, making it look very aesthetically unappealing. Is there a way to do this?

There is the now outdated BuddyPress mobile plugin.

However perhaps a different take and you could look at using a responsive theme that caters for multiple devices there was recently one released. I will add I’ve not used it but heard good things.

Also you may want to check the repo out for anyone doing that for free (https://buddypress.org/extend/themes/) – I seem to recall a free one was in works which is really cool.
