How can I get the activity post form on profile pages like bp.org?

I just like how the theme has the option to post directly on someone’s profile like facebook instead of having to copy and paste someones name and twitter @them. Are there any themes or plugins or tutorials out there on this?

@r-a-y awesome man. You wouldn’t happen to also know how to get all activity to appear at the same time in the stream, without having to select the different “blog comments” or “@ Mentions”

Why isn’t this part of the core default theme? Seems like an easy decision, no?

@r-a-y actually I guess I mean without having to select between “Personal” “Friends” “Groups” “Favorites” “@mentions” I don’t know why I threw blog comments in there.
