How can I loose the “groups” word from the Group URL ?

Hello ,

How can I loose the “groups” word from the Group URL ?

So the URL – http://mybuddysite123.com/groups/testing/
should be changed to : http://mybuddysite123.com/testing/

You cannot remove the 'groups' slug from the URL, but you can change it to whatever you like.

To change the 'groups' slug, navigate to the WP admin dashboard and go to “Pages”. Find the “Groups” page and change the page slug to whatever you like.
