whats mean ” A member mentions you in an update using “@id” in user’s buddypress settings?

member > settings > email > Activity > A member mentions you in an update using “@id”

how can I write mention in buddypress?

If the Friends component is enabled, you’ll first need some friends. 🙂

After that, just type an @ sign and start typing. You should get a drop-down with suggestions.
