How customizable are the registration forms?

    Im very much interested in purchasing BuddyPress use as a personal social network and dashboard for my travel club. There are a few features that I would like to confirm exists before I download the product:

    1. How customizable are the registrations forms? I would like the registration forms to be able to collect information that I will later need for any trips we may go on(e.g. Passport No, Health Issues, etc). I would also like for it have a field to upload a signed waiver and a copy of their passport (in addition to their profile pic). Do you foresee an issue with any of this?

    (bonus) Is it possible to develop my own apps? One of the services I provide to my travelers is being able to pair them up with a roommate if they are traveling alone. I would like to have the site collect information about each travelers personality when registering and somehow inform them of their best possible matches. Do you think this would be feasible?

    This all sounds feasible. BuddyPress is very developer friendly so building your own web apps and hooking into BuddyPress shouldn’t be a problem.

    The registration form is configurable and is fully customisable via the BuddyPress template hierarchy.

    Also, BuddyPress is free, so there’s no need to purchase.
