how do I let members have their own blog with pictures and video?

I am trying to make a site (xanga style) where registered members have their own profile which is blog style and they can post entries with pictures. I want all the members to be able to see other member’s blogs easily as well. Is there a theme, plugin, or way I could do this? I’ve been playing around with a lot of bp themes but almost all of them just allow the members to do “status updates” and doesn’t allow members to have their own blog.
