How do I remove the excerpt in activity?

Hello

I want to remove the post excerpts in the activity on the users’ profile, so only the post title and date/author details are displayed. Any ideas?

I’d probably just filter it, telling it to forget what it was originally told to output.

add_filter (‘bp_blogs_activity_new_post_content’, ‘__return_false’);

(but, if you want the main activity stream to show the content, i’d wrap it in conditionals)

Either a custom functions plugin or your themes functions.php file.

Hello again – sorry, it didn’t work.

It’s the excerpt that I want to get rid of (it’s shown under “Did you buy this tip?”).
