Hi, I’m trying to allow users to use BBcode when posting in group forums.

Currently from what I’ve tested users can use Bold/italic/attach image with HTML codes. I found this plugin which did what I mentioned, but unfortunately it’s outdated (http://etivite.com/wordpress-plugins/buddypress-group-forum-extras/)

Do you guys know if there’s any similar plugin here? I tried to search all the recently updated plugins for 1.6 in this site’s plugin directory but could not find one with a similar feature..

If there is no plugin, would it be possible to create my own shortcodes using filters? I would be really grateful if someone can give me a clue and (possibly) an example. Thank you
