How to add links to on the bp_header like buddypress.org site ”WHO is already using it” etc.

    I have installed the default buddypress theme and want to add links to give my site a look similar to the buddypress.org where you have links like “WHAT is buddy press”, WHO is already using it” and “WHERE can I download it” on bp_header. If i add lines like
    “My Link 1”
    in bp_header ,I can see the my tag “My Link 1? but it is unclickable and doesn’t points to the link i provide in “#”. Butty using the same line inside bp_nav works fine (but i dont want it there ). Can anyone help, do i need to change some other file too

    What are these links for that you wish to create?

    The WP pages tie into that nav system so creating a new WP ‘Page’ will automagically appear in that set of li elements.

    It sounds to me that you are wanting to create pages, and just need to bear in mind that WP still functions in much the same way as you would be used to without BP activated.

    I wish to have something like “WHO is already using it” on buddypress.org. When you click it you are redirected to “https://buddypress.org/showcase/” . The “showcase” is not available as ‘Page” in the nav system. Similarly i want to have a link but not through the nav system . I have not used WP so can’t comment on their similarity but should be similar i guess.

    You will need to create pages (in your wp-admin backend), and perhaps design bespoke page templates (html / php) if you want to enhance the basic layout of these pages. You would then implement your navigation menu to link to these pages.

    This is WordPress rather than BuddyPress specific, so you will be best to visit the WordPress help pages:
