How to allow my subdomain managers to deal with their users’ registration

Hi there,
I need some general advice ( I am using current versions of wp and bp and from what I understand the issue is the same whatever your theme).
My question is how do you let your subdomains’ admins deal with their own users’ registration and keep them separate from the main website and network?
I am unable to locate a plugin for it…they’re either broken, not buddypress compatible, etc. Short of hiring a developer, has anyone found an (easy) workaround for this issue?
