how to change the length limit when we display comments

    Hi there!

    I’m trying to only show the last comment under an activity update.

    So i took the file Global.js located in /plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/_inc
    and change the 5 to 1 at lines 1491 and 1503.

    But no effect happens. Buddypress is still showing the 5 last comments.

    Am i working on the right file ?

    Am i working on the right file ? No.
    Also, hacking core files is not best practice. And give bp version and theme name please.

    Ok i understand, i played with this core file only on local test,
    to see if i was in the good direction 🙂

    I use WP 3.9.2 – BP 2.1

    I guess i have to modify the function calling in the functions.php of my theme ?
