How to create friendly links to profile and embed avatar into menu?

Hey!

I have a problem with profile URLs /SEO links. Username don’t display in a link. For example if I will be sharing a link to my profile on Facebook, I’m trying to create an url and preview like that: John Wick – Site Name or even John Wick on Site Name, but it didn’t work. Any help or ideas? 🙂

And also any ideas how to embed a profile picture/ avatar into my menu?

Hi Piotr,

If your trying to put your Facebook link on the About Me section, you can use this code:

<a href="facebook.com/john-wick">John Wick</a>

The above code will display just like this John Wick

Just change the url and the name that you want to display.

Actually I’m looking for something else :/

1. When I want to share a link to my profile here for example buddypress.org/memebers/johnwick on Facebook, the preview of my link on Facebook will display “John Wick – BuddyPress” something like that

2. When I have my Menu on my website with BuddyPress – I’m trying to display avatar of curently logged in user than a text Profile.

If someone knows answers, I will be happy 🙂
