How to customise the home page for various details?

Hi,
I am a newbie with only knowledge of basic installation and configuration of WordPress, BBpress and buddypress.
I saw a site where buddypress was used for social networking. Check this link:

My question is how we can add real time member view, group view as shown in above link.
First I thought it must be with the use of widgets. But I didnt find any options in default BP theme or the Cinematix theme.
Do we need to manually edit the theme for the same??

How much is the effort in it?

@rkumbhar Simply create a home.php and add widget areas https://codex.wordpress.org/Widgetizing_Themes
Example how to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-create-new-widget-area?replies=5

Then in Appearance > Widgets, add the Members, Groups and bbPress topics widgets in your newly created widget areas and style accordingly

i want to do exactly this, but for each individual group – and so it would display each groups forum on their homepage.

everything else is non essential but perhaps our members who have signed up to that group and maybe the groups activity feed.

does anyone know if this would be possible?
