    1. I’d like to customize the emails my members get from BuddyPress. (For example, when a member sends a friend request to another member).

Thoughts on how to do this?

    2. Something is not working in the “unsubscribe” link in these notification emails. When I click to unsubscribe, it takes me to my Profile page and this error message shows up:

“Something has gone wrong. Please go to your notifications settings to unsubscribe from emails.

And clicking on “Notifications” on the BuddyPress profile page doesn’t take me to the place where I can edit my email notifications. It just takes me to the overall Notifications menu.

    Thanks,

    Ande

I didn’t see anything on this page about the unsubscribe link. https://codex.buddypress.org/emails/ Do you have any thoughts on that?

    Here’s the issue I’m having:

Something is not working in the “unsubscribe” link in these notification emails. When I click to unsubscribe, it takes me to my Profile page and this error message shows up:

“Something has gone wrong. Please go to your notifications settings to unsubscribe from emails.”

And clicking on “Notifications” on the BuddyPress profile page doesn’t take me to the place where I can edit my email notifications. It just takes me to the overall Notifications menu.

    Thanks,

    Ande

    @avaiya,

    I could reproduce your problem…. 🙂

An example: user A receives an email because someone responded to something from her/him.

User A must be logged in to use the unsubscribe link, this works correct.

User A can check this via the profile page – Settings – Email – Send an email notice when: etc.

But if you test this logged in under another username (not user A) then you get exactly the essage that you described.

Try this and see if this is the cause.
