How to get rid of friends and have a sitewide activity.

    I’d like to know how to get rid of everyone having to friend eachother and just have all my new members be apart of a sitewide activity stream so it’s like a big facebook group.

    In wp-admin, in the BuddyPress > Components menu, just make sure that the Activity component is enabled and the Friends component is disabled. Anything else beyond that might need you to customise your theme.

    I wish I could do that without losing my favorite plugins like BP-Chat and sitewide activity bar. Is there a way to auto add everyone as a friend to eachother when they sign up?
