How-to: Membership Protected Content

Hello Everyone! I’m using version 1.5 within the Salutation theme http://themeforest.net/item/salutation-wordpress-buddypress-theme/548199.

I’ve created some pages that I want registered-only members to be able to see. How do I go about doing this? Also, is there a way to integrate a PayPal button into the sign-up process? Membership into the community isn’t free.

I really appreciate your help and plan to contribute a lot here once I learn a lot more about BuddyPress. Thanks!!!

Look at the plugin called s2Member, that will help integrate a Paypal Membership payment to the signup process.
Make sure though you read up first how to set this up – I think there was an article on the BuddyBoss site at one point.

Thanks VeeBee! I’ll do some research first. Do you have an idea of how I can protect content for members only?

S2member is without a doubt THE BEST WP/ BP membership plugin there is.

I run a very complex site with varying member levels/ protected content and S2Member has a feature for everything! It’s amazing!

You can do this in the comprehensive config of s2member.
You can set up s2Member so that it will only allow users to access certain url ‘word fragments’ – ie /groups/
