How to remove the member-type base

    Hi there,
    is it possible to totally remove the member-type base? I have seen this filter: bp_members_member_type_base, but I am not sure if it can be used to remove the base totally.

    Basically what I am looking for is to have a URL like this: website.com/members/students

    instead of: website.com/members/type/students
