how to set number of Post that can be viewed at once buddy press

    I’m running buddy press default theme with word press and need to know how to set the number of post that can be seen at once (example if there where say 20 post and i set it where only 5 will show at once and the remaining 15 will show up on the following page like pagination feature like this
    Viewing topic 1 to 20 (of 1,162 total topics)
    1 2 … 59

    BuddyPress uses loops like regular WordPress, so you need to update your theme or functions.php to give you this functionality.

    I know this isn’t a solution, but hopefully it gets you going down the right path.
