how to test the site ?

    i m done with the site , so now i want to try wheather it is working properlly or not …i tried to register some member by at the step when it says upload image …it says we have send you a mail plz activate account to use this site …so i didnt recieve any mail this could be bcoz the site is not live yet .!
    but still i need to test the site ….? how to do so ?

    You wont send emails from your localhost machine unless you configure a mail relay such as Sendmail to use an existing smpt server i.e your ISP’s. You don’t need to send/receive the emails though simply create a new member in the backend, assign them a password and then log in as them
