HTML emails

    Hello
I’m trying to configure my WP site to send emails in HTML rather than plain text. I’ve read a lot of posts on it but wasn’t able to make it work. I tried editing pluggable.php (changed setting to text/html there) and bp-core-functions.php but so far solutions described in the forums didn’t solve my problem (I’m running BuddyPress 2.9.3 and WPLMS 3.3 and most of the articles relate to much older versions).

I’m new to WordPress and got BuddyPress as part of WPLMS bundle (which migrated all emails to BuddyPress). Haven’t installed any 3rd party SMTP or email pluginsapart from the ones included in the WPLMS Theme.

Is there any plugin that has been verified as solving the problem? I’ll be grateful for any pointers..
    Thanks and best regards,

    Witold.

@proszwi It seems it is an issue related with WPLMS theme. I can see a similar thread going over there. Kindly check the thread

    Thanks mastershas
The post you kindly linked refers to postman SMTP plugin, which I don’t have. To the best of my knowledge all email templates from WPLMS have been migrated to BuddyPress, so WPLMS doesn’t handle the communication anymore (please see https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/buddypress-html-emails/)

The conclusion of post that you kindly linked seems to be that if you use postman, then you lose BuddyPress email templates, which I would prefer to avoid..
Is there any way of making BuddyPress send HTML emails (with or without plugin)?
    Best regards,

    Witold.
