I am facing problems while uninstalling forums.

I am currently using group forums on my buddypress setup and I want to remove forums from it..
I click on the uninstall forums button but still I can see and access forums.
How can i completely eradicate it from my buddypress setup?
my wordpress version is 3.2.1
and my buddypress version is 1.5.1

Backup then delete bb-config.php file at root where you installed WordPress.
