BuddyPress.org

SO here it goes, it is probably something silly but I have been searching for 2 days, gained alot of knowledge on bbpress but problem still has not been solved.

this is a multsite with bbpress built in the them is plexus just in case =) So here is an example if you are registered http://WWW.site.com if you stay on their and click on the log in name to see your profile you go to http://www.site.com/memmbers/john you know

Now John created site john.site.com and and when he clicks his login profile link name as long he is loggged within john.site.com the profile is located in john.site.com/members/john now if John goes back to http://WWW.site.com as John, click login profile link it gets redirected to http://www.site.com/memmbers/john and what I would like it to do is go back john.site.com/members/john I am imagining some sort of code I should be able to add to the bp-custom.php file but maybe more complex then that
