I installed Buddypress a while ago and don’t remember a “link,” so I’m not sure about the “wizard” you’re talking about. But you can try downloading the latest version of buddypress from this site and uploading it to your server……just clear your server out of the old one first, then do a fresh, clean install from your downloaded file. Run a virus scan on the file (after download), then you can be sure you’re getting a clean download.
Sorry, I’ve updated the post title to be more specific, its in fact a little bar that should come up at the top of the page after activating the buddypress that directs you to the installation wizard.
The options that I now have without it are very limited so I believe that it is essential got the configuration on buddypress to my blog.
I’m deleting every possible trace of the plugin now to do a clean install, fingers crossed!
hmmmm…..I’m wondering if you’re referring to the “buddybar” or “dashboard.” If you have Buddypress installed, you can go to your dashboard and scroll down till you see “buddypress” and adjust certain settings here….or you can go into “appearance” and change certain items here. I’m sorry, I want to help, I’m just not sure I’m understanding your question correctly.
Go to admin dashboard menu BuddyPress > Pages and save
Yes, I tried that and I’ve created the pages needed for buddypress but whenever i click on info that is not one of the main pages created (i.e. profile) i get the page not found error.
