I have BP installed and running. How to set up a forum structure and access it?

    Hi:
    BP Newbie here. I think I have BP installed properly with my existing site. I installed the BP Template Pack so that it makes my theme compatible. Are there just “basic” instructions on: Step by step to set up a very basic discussion group. It seems like there is so much knowledge that I can’t find simple instructions on setting up my first discussion group and then linking to it from my main site as: http://MainSite/Discussion.

    Is there a simple video or article on how to do this. I just want something basic, then build from there. Can I get some step-by-step help?
