Include event in Groups activity stream

I am a newbie when it comes to BuddyPress, WordPress etc.

I have installed latest versions of WordPress with Buddypress and EventsManager.

I want to include Events in the activity stream of my group.

My website: http://connect2sa.co.za/streettalk/groups/support/

What I have done:
I have created a group “Support”
I have created a group event
The event is shown in group menu, but not in the activity stream.

I have Googled for solutions, but I fear most refer to older versions of BuddyPress (e.g. refer to bp-custom.php, but I can’t find that file anymore).

Is there anyone who can help me?

I think that I have fixed the problem.

When I post a group event, and I don’t add the group name to categories, then it appears in the group activity stream.

The next step is to automatically invite people when they see an event. I am going to research that now.
