Install a plugin twice

  • Hi,
I’ve hack a plugin to create a new function using the base of the plugin and i want to install the ‘new-hack’ plugin and the original. it is possible?
I know that wordpress can’t duplicate info of database. I’ve tried to replace all plugin’s words of code that contains ‘x’ to ‘y’ and it doesn’t works.

    Any idea? Thanks!

If you duplicated everything and renamed everything, then technically, you should be able to activate them both.

    What’s the plugin in question?

is buddypress-links i’ve hack the plugin to create a dribbble plugin, but i need to put again the original :S
something happen when i’ve do the replacement couse the plugin is activated but cant acces to the admin panel. Is there another easy way to do it?

There should be hooks in BuddyPress Links to accomplish what you’re after.

You’ll have to dive through the documentation and the source code though.

Is there another plugin to allow create a directory of content (links mainly) in buddypress?
