My WP site had BBPress working on it’s own forums.php template just fine.
During BuddyPress installation (I ‘think’) it asked if I wanted to use the Legacy forums? Either way no forums worked out of the box. So:

Is it bad to have a seperate BBPress plugin installation with BuddyPress? If it’s not then it’s even more strange that my forums don’t work. (I’m lost)

I unticked the Settings->BuddyPress-> Components-> Legacy Forums Check box and it disappeared. Do I have to reinstall BP to get the “Legacy” version of the forums to work? What should I do?

But I understand how it’s suppossed to work. However, I removed “Forums” from the Setting->BuddyPress->Pages Tab. Now I have this:

So what do you do now in BuddyPress 1.7? There should probably be an option to add forums like the initial install has?
